About Us

Who is MTech Consulting?

Hi, my name is George Kovach and I am MTech Consulting. I have been providing computer support since 1982 for a variety of Fortune 500 companies; the last 10 years in the capacity as a consultant. I have worked for such companies as L'Oreal, Lancôme, American Standard, Moody's Investor Services, AT&T, Lucent, Kenneth Cole, NASDAQ, CON-ED (NYC), and  Alpha Technologies, (to name a few); helping them take control of their IT environments and manage day to day operations. I now bring that wealth of corporate experience to the small to medium business market. My more recent customers include EOHSI/Rutgers University (click here for a review of my work by HP), Coast Honda, Radiant Resources, Lawrence Associates, ACI-AppliCAD, and many others.

Why "us"?

Since I am a sole consultant, you may be perplexed as to why I refer to MTech Consulting as "us". The answer is simple. Having been in the industry for the past 25 years or so I have accumulated a wealth of contacts and resources that I utilize to support my customers. Contacts and resources you would otherwise have to pay for should you require their expertise. Also, as MTech Consulting grows we look forward to adding employees that contribute to the high level of professionalism and expertise you've come to expect and deserve.

My Philosophy on Information Technology

Having been in the industry for practically 25 years I've seen a lot of trends and products come and go. Each one promised to "revolutionize" your business. More often than not, the only revolutionary thing that happened was spiraling complexity of this field and ever increasing costs to you. As a consultant I feel it is my duty and obligation to navigate this field and offer my clients simple, easy to maintain, technology solutions for their business. And not because it happens to be the "latest and greatest" or that I happen to be a reseller of a particular product. Neither will I take a "one size fits all" approach.
